2008 Jeep Commander

The Jeep® Commander is the first Jeep vehicle with three rows of seats; now, more passengers — seven total — can visit more places to enjoy its go-anywhere, do-anything capability. Complementing the Commander Sport and Commander Limited models in 2008 is the Jeep Commander Overland model. The Overland model features platinum-chrome exterior accents and wood, leather and suede interior accents, making the Overland the mostluxurious Commander ever.

  • 5.7-liter HEMI V-8: The 5.7-liter HEMI with the Multi-Displacement System (MDS): 330 hp @ 5,000 rpm and 508 N.m @ 4,000 rpm

4 WHEEL DRIVE SYSTEM

  • Quadra-Trac II® : Active full-time; two-speed with low NV245 range (2.72:1) and neutral, 48/52 front/rear torque split, electronically controlled clutch pack coupling in center differential and open front and rear differentials (4.7 V8 engine only)
  • Quadra-Drive II®: Active full-time; two-speed with low NV245 range (2.72:1) and neutral, 48/52 front/rear torque split, electronically controlled clutch pack coupling in center differential and front and rear Electronic Limited-Slip Differentials (4.7 V8 and 5.7 HEMI V8 engines)
